Charlotte Zoe Smith is a Research Masters student who joined the Carlson Lab in January 2017 as a research assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from the University of Hawaii. Charlotte’s research interests include tropical ecology, land-use change, and conservation. At the Carlson Lab, Charlotte works on projects involving GIS and remote sensing. Outside of the lab, Charlotte enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors.
